Morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport on boarding Helicopter greeted by our Heli Pilot / Captain then fly for an hour to reach at Lukla 2,820 m high, a moderate size Sherpa town with a unique airstrip called as Tenzing-Hillary airport.
In Lukla with time for refreshing cup of tea / coffee where Helicopter will be refilled with oil then fly through Dudh Kosi gorge then high over Namche Bazaar (possible stops with glimpse of Namche Bazaar). Continue flight with sweeping panorama of Everest-Lhotse-Nuptse- Amadablam-Tharmarserku-Kangtenga and Kwangde peaks (possible landing at Thyangboche Monastery for short walks and tour of monastery).
Flying over Imjatse River leaving the vegetation and tree lines behind to reach and land at Gorakshep at the height of 5,180 m, Gorakshep an early Everest Base Camp from 1953 to mid 1970's houses few nice lodges, from here depending upon the landing condition at Everest Base Camp due to movement of glacier and ice the landing ground areas might be obstructed.
If not landing possible at base camp, however we fly as close towards base camp allowing you to view the areas of base camp with huge Khumbu Ice falls and glaciers with surrounding views of Lola-Chamlang-Nuptse-Khumbutse-Lingtrin-Pumori with Everest at close distance.
Return journey with stop for hot lunch either at Gorakshep / Namche or in Lukla with time to immerse with local Sherpa Buddhist culture and then fly back to Kathmandu with wonderful experience on Everest Base Camp and Khumbu Heli Flights.

03: How high does Heli Tour fly?
Most of the Helicopter available in Nepal French built Fail with Safe Design - comfortable seating arrangements - 5 seating besides Pilot and co-pilot - suitable for all types of helicopter flights and landing can fly up at an altitude of above 6,000 m / 19,000 or much higher.
On this Heli Tour flying above 5,000m with close views of mountains of the region and beyond other peaks of Himalaya.
04: How cold will be on the flight as well on landing at places of interest?
Depending upon the areas of Heli Tour and season, April to May warmer during day time with cold wind factor morning and late afternoon period, where temperature drops down on shades, but on air with right pressure will be warm of normal room temperatures.
However, we will suggest you proper gear a day ahead before your Heli Tour with necessary warm gears to take and wear.
05: Even on Heli Tour what chances of High Altitude Sickness or AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness)?
In Heli with will be pressurized like on international flights that flies high, on this case Heli Tour it will similar with quite differences, during flight you will be safe and secure without chance of AMS.
On landing some places with high elevation of above 5,000 m around possible landing site at Everest Base Camp above 5,364 m or at Gorakshep 5,180 m. It will be for only short duration depending upon your fitness to cope with altitude, if it’s a long walk from Heli pad we will advice what's good for you to avoid from High Altitude Sickness.
Our Heli Tour lands for you to take photographs and marvel the views of mountains and landscape scenery and as well to witness local culture. So altitude will be not much of a problem in our fascinating and enjoyable Heli Tour.
06: What types of meals provided on this Heli Tour?
As we are flying around Everest and high Khumbu areas directly North East from Kathmandu where the area much established, to cater needs of all wide-world travelers, depending upon stops for lunch at higher altitude like Namche Bazaar 3,440 m, Thyangboche Monastery 3,867 m or Pheriche above 4,220 m including stops in Lukla 2,820 m, providing you with hot lunch Continental-Chinese-Nepalese meals.
If it is in Namche or Lukla on route Kathmandu much better meals as the places have good excellent restaurants, one can order straight from Ala Carte' or just order a simple Nepalese style meals.
(It all depends upon our pilot decision with limited time for stops and refreshments)
