Trekking in Manaslu area or Manaslu Trek, popularly and most common are called Manaslu Circuit Trek. An adventure around the world 8th highest Mt. Manaslu at 8,163 m and 26,781 feet high, located within Mansiri Himal range. 

Within Mt. Manaslu range includes other famous peaks Bauddha Himal 6, 672 m, and Himal Chuli 7, 893 m. Includes Ngadi Chuli 7, 871 m, Peak 29 7, 971 m with other lesser peaks. As well as close to Annapurna Himalaya towards the west and Ganesh Himal in the east direction.

Manaslu Trek routes, with only two directions and much popular from the Gorkha town of Auraghat and Soti-Khola village. Which starts heading anti-clockwise to reach high Manaslu valley and to cross over Larke-La Pass at 5,106 m and 16,752 feet high. Which forms a barrier between the two districts of Gorkha and Manang, where Manaslu valley, located in the high area of Gorkha.

As well on the old Trans Himalaya Salt Trade Route of Nepal and Tibet. Which is close from the main village of Sama-Gaon towards the north, as well on route Larke-La Pass.

The other less-used route from Manang area to reach high Manaslu valley by Larke-La trekking clockwise. Whichever way you take it is one of the longest passes around Nepal Himalaya. As well it will be a great adventure of a life-time experience on trekking in the Manaslu area.

Manaslu Trek, which was opened for foreign visitors in 1991 and remains a restricted area. Where trekkers requires a special permit to enter the high Manaslu valley from the village of Jagat. Including two other tickets of both MCAP (Manaslu Conservation Area Project) and ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project). Trekkers need to join and book with a reputed trekking agency, the trip cost inclusive of all trek package. From guide, porters, permits, accommodation, food, and transportation. Includes wages and medical insurance for guide, trekking staff and porters.

The best time for Trekking Manaslu Area from March to May, and September to mid-November. Spring and autumn are the main peak and high season for the Manaslu trek as well for other Himalayan destinations. 

Late November and winter cold months, most of high Manaslu valley villages will remain closed for winter. Where all villagers migrate to low warm areas to escape the freezing cold winter months from November till the end of February.
