'Scenic and cultural walk to Poon Hill for stunning sunrise views over range of Himalayan peaks'

Overview of Annapurna Panorama Trekking

The Annapurna Panorama Trekking is designed to provide trekkers with spectacular views of some of the tallest peaks in the world, including Annapurna South (7,219m), Machapuchare (6,993m), and Hiunchuli (6,441m). Unlike the classic Annapurna Base Camp Trek, this trek focuses on panoramic views rather than high-altitude challenges, making it suitable for trekkers with moderate fitness levels.

This trek starts from Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region, and gradually ascends through terraced farmlands, dense forests, traditional Gurung and Magar villages, and scenic ridges that offer unparalleled vistas of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Key Features of Annapurna Panorama Trekking:

  • Duration: 12 Days

  • Difficulty: Moderate

  • Maximum Altitude: 3,000 meters (around Poon Hill)

  • Best Season: September to November and March to May

  • Starting Point: Pokhara

  • Ending Point: Pokhara

Why Choose Annapurna Panorama Trekking?

Nepal offers numerous trekking routes, but the Annapurna Panorama Trekking provides a perfect balance of adventure, scenery, and cultural immersion. Here’s why it is popular among trekkers:

  1. Spectacular Mountain Views: Trekkers enjoy 360-degree views of Annapurna South, Machapuchare (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri.

  2. Cultural Experience: The trail passes through traditional villages inhabited by Gurung and Magar communities, offering a glimpse of their lifestyle, architecture, and customs.

  3. Moderate Trekking Challenge: Unlike high-altitude treks such as Annapurna Base Camp or Manaslu Circuit, this trek is less physically demanding but equally rewarding.

  4. Less Crowded Trails: The route avoids overcrowded tourist paths, allowing trekkers to enjoy tranquility and nature’s beauty.

  5. Accessibility: Starting from Pokhara, a city well-connected to Kathmandu by road and air, the trek is logistically convenient.

This trek is perfect for adventure lovers who want the essence of the Annapurna trekking Circuit without the extreme altitude or long duration.

Why doesn’t Holiday Planner Nepal encourage joining groups or traveling with other travelers?

What we believe in is when you book the trek solo or with the group you know the solo traveler or the group book it solo because you don’t want to join a group and want to enjoy the trek by yourself and the cost is the same so why to join a group and ruin the experience.
